Profile

Hello! I’m Ayumi Hashimoto, a freelance translator with six years of experience, specialising in books, marketing games, legal, and financial translations.

I began my career as an in-house legal translator at a law firm in 2018, while also working on book translation as a side hustle. After four and a half years of working at the law firm, I moved to the UK to study for an MA in Translation Studies at Durham University.

Now, I’m back in Japan and working on a wide range of projects across various industries as a full-time freelancer.

Feel free to visit my LinkedIn profile for more information! 🙂
